Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD)

SpLD is a disorder that interfere with the ability to learn or apply specific learning skills (e.g. reading, writing, math). These learning skills are necessary throughout the learning process and heavily affects their progress in school.

Common Examples of Specific Learning Difficulties:

  • Dyslexia – learning difficulties in reading, writing, and spelling
  • Dysgraphia – learning difficulties affecting information & motor processing
  • Dyscalculia – learning difficulty in making arithmetic calculations
